Osama was born in Lebanon in a family of hereditary musicians. In 9 years he already mastered a goblet drum under the leadership of his uncle – the professional percussionist, the famous drummer of Josef Moussa. Then he continued training at music school in Beirut. He started appearing on stage since 1989, and in 18 years Osama Shakhin in the musical environment was considered as the professional behind which shoulders there was a set of competitions, festivals, tours. In 1996 Osama Shakhin arrived to Russia. In 2000 its first solo concert took place. At the moment works and acts with famous dancers from all Russia, as well as organizes concerts, parties, holidays.

In 2001 I opened the percussion school in St. Petersburg. Same year I founded own collective MAGIC DRUMS which head is and till today. Osama Shakhin participated in such festivals as "1001 White Night", "Oasis" (St. Petersburg), "Oriyental" (Moscow) and much many others across all Russia and the neighboring countries. It also worked with Kamal Ballan and his orchestra. In 2008 there went as a part of the State Symphonic orchestra "Hermitage" to Dubai. Osama let out 3 solo albums with music on a goblet drum and other drums. Since 2006 is one of the leading teachers of a festival WORLD DRUMS in TOLYATTI. Since 2009 is the co-organizer of the International Festival of the Oriental Dance of AL SALAM in St. Petersburg. Since 2008 the founder of the HAFLA project (east parties, master classes, competitions). In 2013 Organizer of the WEEK of the ARAB CULTURE IN ST. PETERSBURG.
